As a graduate of Industrial Design from the University of Illinois in Chicago, Marcin's knowledge of product design led to the curiosity of improving and creating new tools for teaching. Having seen Mariya's struggles withing the field, Marcin saw an opportunity to help problem solve every day struggles of educators.

Behavior Therapist
Equipped with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Northern Illinois, Mariya works as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with behavior disorders such as autism (ASD) and emotional behavior disorders (EBD). She has worked in ABA clinics, general education settings, and provided therapy for clients in their home settings. Mariya is currently pursuing her education to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Why was Helpful Tree founded?
Helpful Tree was founded on recognizing the challenges Mariya faced in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Poorly designed visuals, late nights laminating images, and lost teaching materials were common struggles. There had to be a better way.
Who is our target audience?
Our goal is to reach a diverse audience. Teachers, educators, clinicians, caregivers, and parents should be able to benefit from using our products.
What does Helpful Tree do?
Helpful Tree is dedicated to designing, testing, and producing products that enable educators to reduce time spent on creating materials and increase time spent on teaching.
