Step 1: Spread rail

While keeping the cutter flat on tabletop surface, using two fingers, spread the plastic rail apart until the blade is no longer held in place.

Step 2: Remove blade

While still holding the plastic rail apart with one hand, remove the used blade upwards. Safely discard used blade.

Step 3: Insert blade

Seat new blade into plastic rail.

Step 4: Spread rail

Spread plastic rail until new blade is seated and can not be removed.

Final Product

Blade should slide freely in the plastic rail. Note, blade replacement is recommended when the used blade does not provide clean cuts and causes paper tearing.
